SOLD--Outback MX-60 MPPT Controller for sale--SOLD
« on: September 13, 2012, 11:58:56 AM »
I have a used (3 years or so) Outback MX60 for sale due to upgrading to a FX80. I have been holding on to it for a spare and have decided I can do without it. I paid $550 new for it. I will ship it in its original box with the Manual. I will entertain reasonable offers.

This unit was manufactured Q1 of 2008 and put into service in Q1 of 2009. It has a battery temperature sensor and is currently working every day on a small array. No problems with it that I know of. It is mounted indoors and will be cleaned of dust before shipping. I will need at least $350 for it shipped within the USA. They are currently going for this asking price on e-bay (older units though) and the ones on e-bay have a buy it now of $400. Shipping of the e-bay ones are running about $20 to $25.

Thank you for your reply.  I need to think a bit.  I also looked them up on ebay and you are correct.  I have more solar then my one mx60 will handle but I have a morningstar ts 60 and may just run some of the solar to the battery bank.  I do have a outback inverter system and your controller would let me inigrate at the hub.  I just bought a battery heat senser, dang it.  I already have over a 17 year pay back not installed and this is with me making half of what I have.  I hope you sell it and take my temptation away.  I believe I have the need but may work around it.  Thanks for your response and good luck.
