Harvesting Wave Energy
« on: February 27, 2014, 05:11:21 PM »
Hello, I saw there is a hydro forum but was unable to find much on wave energy. Its an area that I would like to focus on. What are your thoughts on harvesting wave energy as a new renewable source. I know much research is taking place in companies and in countries like Australia. But where are the long term wave harvesting machines? I only see campaigns and media articles of projects.

I remember countries trying it way back in the 80's and running into problems.

Please excuse my ignorance, but that's why I'm here. Please briefly explain that theory. Sound interesting.  8)
