What is this tool?

MagnetJuice:
The last time I saw one of those tools, it was in the hands of a foreigner. They use it to grab dollars from the US and transfer them overseas. They take about 666 billion of those bills every year.

By using that tool, they don't leave fingerprints behind.  ;)

Hi.

I go with Frank, I have a similar thing albeit plastic for hooking in the rings on a ceiling fan to turn it on and off without having to stand on something.

Brian.

dnix71:
It looks like a popup sink shaft, missing the plug cap.  The hook end goes down and twist locks into the lifting rod mouted in the drain. This one is removeable because the hook at the bottom is not closed. Twist to remove and hang it by the hook. The four flutes are pretty universal and serve to keep it straight in the drain.

adobejoe:
I believe this is used to secure the new tip on a pool stick until the glue has dried!

dnix71:
adobejoe the pool tip glue clamp looks like this, and uses a ring.
