Report KD 676 can be copied for free from my website: www.kdwindturbines.nl at the menu KD-reports. The tittle of this report is: "Calculations executed for the 2-bladed rotor of the VIRYA-2.22 windmill (lambda design = 5, stainless steel blades) using the axial flux PM-generator of Hefei Top Grand model TGET260-0.5KW-350R". The VIRYA-2.22 has also been added to the folder of the VIRYA-1.75W and the VIRYA-1.8W. The VIRYA-2.22 has a rather simple stainless steel rotor which still has good aerodynamic characteristics. The matching in between rotor and generator is perfect for a wind speed of 5 m/s.

For most Chinese PM-generators only the Pel-n curve for a resistor load is given. The characteristics for a battery load are completely different but one needs a Pmech-n curve for a battery load to check the matching in between rotor and generator. In chapter 6 of KD 676, a method is given how the characteristics for a battery load can be derived from the characteristics for a resistor load. This information might be usefull for someone who wants to use a chinese PM-generator.

To give an impression of this rotor-generator combination I have added figure 1 from KD 676 as attachment.
