Plans for the weekend
« on: May 24, 2019, 04:48:10 PM »
Hi all,

Im the US we have a holiday this coming monday. Times have been financially tough for me. But the the weekend has a tradition for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and also bratwurst. I have earned enough to have my business pay for the weekend. Okay and lots of beer too :)

Make hay... err mow my lawn, splurged on a slab of spare ribs for the smoker(dang those things have gotten expensive!), try to plant more garden in the mud...

It will be a normal weekend here in Canada, but I'll still have a couple of Honey Browns while looking at Mary's picture of the ribs and licking my monitor.

No Memorial Day here. We don't have a 4th of July either, we jump from the third to the fifth.  :D

Enjoy the weekend everybody.

The British have a 4th of July, they just don't celebrate that day the way Americans do.

Well I don't need to eat greens for a week after mowing yesterday in the 20mph wind... every turn I ate grass, I had grass in places you don't want grass... With all the rain it was hood high on the mower in spots so crawl speed to get it done. Took 3 hours instead of 2!

Getting smoker going to make food!

Well had a good weekend

Did some nice Swordfish on the grill tonight. I have this awesome blackened spice.
