Two small turbines
« on: March 07, 2021, 09:28:05 PM »
Both Chinese models, will ship out of Texas panhandle.  Would prefer local pickup but, you know, what are the odds.  Both of these turbines are in working condition, the 700 is still up in the air as I write this post.  They have been tested extensively, I can provide as many videos as you'd like of them running.

700 watt, 24v ~ I've seen peaks very close to 1500w in very high wind.  Blades are noisy, but it's got cheap straight cut blades.  Works great, has performed really, really well for over a year.  $200 plus shipping.  Expect about a 50lb package 15x15x36 package for an idea of shipping costs.

400 watt ~ I've seen peaks right around 1200w.  Rated for 12/24 but I've run it at 12, 24, 36, and 48 and it sucks at either end...runs awesome at 24, okay at 36, brakes are on at 12, and 48 just freewheels.  This has been one of the best turbines I've reviewed and if I could have found it again I would have bought a few more of them.  Does not start up well...takes a good blow to get moving, but once it's moving it makes quite a bit of power for a little turbine.  In 25~30mph wind it's making in the 500~550 area.  Blades are damn near silent.  $150 plus shipping, expect a 15x15x24 inch package that weighs about 20lbs for shipping costs.
