Lift Anxiety

New tower is ready to go up...

14450-0

Yesterday was too windy to do the first lift.
Now the clocks are set back to standard time, so after work it's dark already.
I probably won't get to do this until next weekend.

In the meantime, I wait...

...but I keep asking myself, "have I forgotten anything??"

Check, check and double check!.

I always get worried about the gin pole and its 3 wire or rope stays, never to tight, but never to slack.

I worry over the gin pole bolt, and always replace with new bolt if suspect.

I worry about the Gin pole plate the gin pole is attached to on the mast and on the gin pole.

Keep checking that your electric wires are not trapped or being squeezed or kinked by the tower going up. Only had that once,.... but!

And i have my lowering/raising  my gals reasonable sweet operation.

Oh yea, one more thing, underwear ! LOL.

Good Luck

Bon Courage!

Good luck.  Remember, you've done this before.  In the end the planning pays off.  Be patient.  Be safe.

OK,
Tomorrow is a holiday and the weather should be nice.
I also seem to have a perfect alignment.

So with this blessing from the ancient Maya builders, I'd better get on with it.

The alignment is favourable indeed.  You are probably in the middle of it right now so good luck.  Lots of wind on the way so you should get it tested in the next few days.
