Another video of the 100$ wind turbine in action with meter
« on: November 15, 2021, 11:38:34 AM »
This is another video of my 100$ wind turbine, it sometimes develops the shakes which I need to deal with it's 0n a 20 foot homemade tower in 15-20mph winds, cheers.

Nice! Does it ever furl? That looked a bit scary in the big gusts. You would have been making power here last night... sustained at 20mph with gusts to 35... still gusting past 15 and sustained around 11

It only seems to furl in really strong sustained winds over 30mph , I do love it when it gets windy , wind turbines are the only thing that makes horrible weather "fun" This turbine maxes out at 600 watts so not as good as a decent axial flux, cheers

Nice gsw.  I like how you capture the output in the inset frame.

Thanks mate , it sure makes it more interesting, I use this really great phone software that is called video guru, I start and finish the 2 cameras at the same time and then merge the footage , it also gives people a realistic output from a home wind turbine, I have seen so many people claiming to be making a kw when it's more likely 100 watts, cheers , would love to see more videos of your turbine !!
