Over here on the BIG job
« on: May 31, 2022, 03:59:26 PM »
We decided to put together a small PV system for my in-law's camp.  It's a nice spot, awesome views & of course no power.  The whiny little generator they had always used seemed like an uninvited guest whenever we make our annual camp-out pilgrimage.

It starts with a highly detailed set of plans ;>]

14859-1

And an agile crew… eager to learn a wide range of things from concrete… to magnetic declination :>0
14860-2
14861-3
14862-4

The outcome of our fun & labor:
14863-5
14864-6

The specs: 300w PV, V(mp) 18.1, I(mp) 16A, duo-MPPT controller, 2-29HM lead-acid batteries 230Ah@ 20-hr, 600w inverter, mag declination 14 deg 29'W

Three boys, three directions, X Y Z - - either they all work together or else nothing gets done.

This looks like the first case - Great job!
No one believes the theory except the one who developed it. Everyone believes the experiment except the one who ran it.
