Small 12V inverter
« on: June 30, 2023, 01:56:41 PM »
Hi Folks,

If anyone here might have a use for this inverter, let me know.  I bought it new in April of last year for a hunting camp (PV/battery) project I did with the kids.  Since then I happened onto a slightly larger one, so this one is up for grabs.  It looks & works as new; has really had very little use (cell phones, radio, laptop).  I paid $230.  I'd take $125.

It is rated for 540w continuous, 600w peak power (5-min), 1,200w surge.

Those Xantrex units have a lot of guts.  If I needed it I would snap it up.
Interesting to see the Xantrex name still on it - so many of that line have been rebranded as Schneider now.
No one believes the theory except the one who developed it. Everyone believes the experiment except the one who ran it.
System spec: 135w BP multicrystalline panels, Xantrex C40, DIY 10ft (3m) diameter wind turbine, Tri-Star TS60, 800AH x 24V AGM Battery, Xantrex SW4024
