I still like Wacky Windmills....

    Forget about inefficiency and all the

drawbacks...if it was like this or nothing at all?

  I mean like that second picture...the one with the two stubby wings...I can imagine something

like this with 4ft.wings and a 3ft. chord, sitting on a turntable with a tail to steer it into the wind, it could even have a furling system that would lessen the angle of attack as

the wind increased.

  The whole thing could be painted to look like

a non-threatning lawn ornament.

                 Just dreaming for now...

  but it would work and I really need things

like this that the neighbors can't object to

or like "Hey! Could you make me one of those?"
