That looks like a link to his personal hotlist from the old board. It would only work for the poster even for the old board.

Hotlist entries were user specific

Might try searching as a lot of the stories made it to the new forum with different urls.

Hi Tom,
Do you think the old story was from September 3, 2005, or March 9, 2005?  Or does the apparent date in the URL have more to do with the date on which that member added it to the old hotlist?  Hints that would help narrow down the search for the thread.

Before the board change-over last year (how time flies!) I put a lot of links in my hotlist into a separate set of favourites.  They still work for me - but they wouldn't work for anyone else?
