motorhome mill

running around in the dark last nite[great way to spend the new year]..

any way  i managed to get the mill up..was kinda breezy--then nothing!!!!

heres some shots i took this evening[slow getting out of bed today-can"t imagine why]

should keep my batt charged..i run the furnace now and then in the winter[small blower motor]..only have summer tags on it for now ..so a real test  will have to wait tell march rolls around...i always drive down to the coast -nice and windy..

Hmm looks like a mill flying above my old blue bird school bus  

Minus the 6 12ft long 4" black pipes mounted on top ( I like hot showers)

I take it the blades can be easily removed for travel.

what out put do you expect?

should kick out 200-300watts in a good wind ..

i made the blades to break down--three bolts per blade..

its a real light weight unit--around 15-20lbs..

   I like the shape of the tail vane.Gives a touch of class.I might try some design work as soon as I get time.Still have not finished converting my wood-lathe into a metal cutting lathe yet.They have to very rigid or it wont cut metal.

looks real nice hiker..i like the tail also, gives it a uniqness... :)
