I cut down the armature
Glued Neo grade 50 1/2"x1/16"
Two Deep by two wide, (length wise, going inline with arm)
Giving me 8 per pole, using 4 sets of this setup
Stock wires,. 4 coils of #22 & #27, (.025-.027 & .014)
I hooked up the stock three wires to a couple of
Bridge Rec.'s
(salvaged from computer power supply's)
And am waiting to test with a cordless drill
I don't have a half inch chuck one so I must
go to a friends shop to use his.
Cogging is a bit strong but, can still be turned with fingers.
This motor is a bushing not bearing so if it gives good output
I'll be searching for some bearings when I get some cash to play with
Local bearing shop should have something I could adapt to fit.
This motor also has three funky legs pointed towards shaft out end
and I might drill out the rear end and swap arm around to make better
use of these legs as a mounting system later if power is there.
test results posting later today.
