Clarke Brand Lead Acid Batteries
« on: September 06, 2006, 04:55:21 AM »
I scored some of these last week also.

6 VDC Deep Cycle Flooded

I got four and should be able to get the other two tomorrow

Two weeks ago they all showed 6+ volts, (4 I have still do show about 6.35)

they are from a change out at a store I go to a couple times a week

They are a little bit swelled out but not a lot, not

to bad on the tops as far as nasty stuff, (less than my truck, LOL :) )

Anybody out there have any of these???

Thanks

Clarke-

After researching more,

would be the maker of the floor scrubber

to get parts for these even batteries, you

need part numbers.

lol

Luckly I have the battery numbers

And to buy these bat's new, wow!

$234.00 to $260.00 each, (maybe each after seeing that price I didn't

care to look much more, LOL)

Anyways,

These are ....  250 AH

And yes I got the other two today, ;)

Total of six now!

Maybe I'll be able to wire up a bank at

30V DC to be able to test

the BEST inverter, (it needs 28-38 VDC)

:)

I forgot

What can you tell me about the caps on these

clarke batteries???????

Are they a "Hydrocap" type or

"water miser" maybe??????

They just don't look like normal auto type caps.

Please don't hate me, (My Hunting Season Luck is working again, funny how I never get to hunt with same people after a couple years they seem to have "other plans", ;| lol ...) and please share any info you have.
