I found two Yuasa 6V SLA batteries , one reads 2.98V the other is 2.96V

are they toast ?

or can they be revived?

Stick them on trickle charge for a few days and see what you get. They will most likely have sulphated but there may be life left in them yet.

i trickle charged them all night , and i think they are toast.

when i put them in series and use the boost converter on them , the volts go way up but the current is small .

i think the internal resistance is way too high, otherwise the volts wouldnt rise as much and they would take more current.

oh well they were free , i got them out of a little kids electric car that someone threw out.
