Not going to Alaska
« on: February 11, 2007, 03:37:04 AM »
The work they want hubby to do can only be done in the summer. That means I won't be going to Alaska.

So now I'm back to learning about solar energy for my camper that I plan to get later this year. I want to pout for a few days before I start delving into that though.

Alaska in the summer be way more fun I would think,18-20+ hours of daylight, much warmer, great fishing,NO snow to fight, But I hear they get some mean bugs!

better carry some wieghts for your ankles they say the bugs are big enough to carry you off.  Extra fishing line. You will need a passport if going thru Canada and make sure your propane tanks have a current inspection if you are driving.  They have dates stamped on most them. They are starting to get real picky.
