The 8 Inch Rotors with the 5 foot TLG blades

I have everything assembled on the axle stub. These are the 5 foot TLG aluminum blades. Going to wind a test coil later this week and do some testing. 1x1x.5 inch N42 magnets, 12 per rotor. I have the gap set at 9/16ths of an inch.

Looks nice so far. Have you chrome plated the discs or something, they look very shiny.

No, that must have been a trick of the lighting. Thinking of priming them and then a couple coats of epoxy paint instead of casting them.
