Cut 36 blades to the right length, then cut and

bent them, made a small hole with warm soldering

iron



then I attached each one to a spoke nipple and

used duct tape...but later on found that good

old hot glue worked just as well and quicker.

worked pretty well.





Have just stuck the end in a 2x2

clamped it on a free standing tower for a

couple of weeks....it's fell over several

times with no damage no loose blades.....

Hi Norm.

I've been there and done that, years ago.

I respoked the 26" bike wheel so the spokes were coming from the hub radially and used aluminum sheet as the veins. It worked, but wasn't great.

The other two propellers are folded aluminum sheet, they worked pretty well surprisingly - I wouldn't do it again though, metal fatigue.

The red nose cone is a funnel, with the spout cut off, they work well and come in lots of sizes.

How fast is it,

say compared to the HF garden mills?

I bet it's plenty for a few RT steppers!
