The beginning
« on: February 23, 2008, 09:57:21 PM »
I finally got around to cutting out my rotors and attaching the magnets. Pinched the $#|+ out of my finger in the process. No - not from a magnet either. I pinched my finger changing a tire out for a little old lady. And she had the gall to laugh when I done it. I would have decked the old bat - but she makes the bestest biscuits and sausage gravy you ever tasted! And that rhubarb-strawberry pie she makes for me? Heaven!

I was going to go straight into a bigger machine - but time (garden season is upon me), available scrap, and money have dictated that my first one will be a ten footer.

No biggie. As always, the plan changes and evolves as you go along.

But at least I have the rotors cut, and the magnets on. Probably going to cast them tomorrow if I get the time.

But then again - maybe not. I have eight dogs and am in the middle of a remodel job for some folks, and I ain't been paid in two months.

Maybe I'll just sleep instead.
