  1. foot tall tower?
  2. /16" cable?

Something doesn't sound right here.

It's rare to hear about towers any taller than 60 feet on this forum.

Could you tell a little bit more about the project?

No one believes the theory except the one who developed it. Everyone believes the experiment except the one who ran it.

The higher the better. The wind will be better and to get 30' above the tree line.

Yeah i am around 80ft with 5/16 cable on the top 2 sets. if i had it to do again after today i may go to 3/8 on the top one only. that baby sure does move around when she is cranking out 2500 watts or more.

100 ft will be up there i would make sure the cable sizes are correct. i couldn't gleen much info here i think most are reluctant to make recommendations. I had a buddy that is a structural engineer look it over and he said my top cable should be 3/8 and my turnbuckles are to small. i think i used 1/2 turnbuckles so he said to safety cable them?

I was thinking about 3/8 cable for the top, at $210 for a 500 foot roll just a little more in cost. The turnbuckles will be a lot more but I don't want it coming down.
