-Treadmill motor
« on: January 13, 2010, 06:09:43 AM »
Greetings for 2010 to all, I was given a treadmill motor

 Permanent Magnet DC Motor:

CW rotation:   electrical rating @ 240 vdc :    FF  1.0  :  2.0 HP: 5250 rpm : 8.5 amps.  Spinning by hand i can get 12 volts , turning it at 60rpm   ie 1 rev/sec. i get around 2.0 to 2.3 volts  the motor vibrates as it turn (cogging i suppose) and not as smooth as the axial flux. Any chance of making good use of it ?
