Looking for anemometer cups/rotor assembly
« on: February 24, 2008, 08:09:23 PM »
I'm in the process of building a data logger for an Air-X. I want to measure wind speed, so I need an anemometer. I'd like to find a well built cup and rotor assembly. I guess Forefield used to sell one, but I can't find it anymore.

Hey, Luckydog.  I just ordered one of these from inspeed thinking I would probably write some java code to monitor and display the data.  I would be interested in hearing how yours is working for you and whether or not you're using the inspeed logging code.  I'm up in Lyons, Co btw.

I'm strongly considering this - http://www.aagelectronica.com/aag/index.html?target=p_1.html&lang=en-us

The 1-Wire interface will only require a single I/O pin on the microcontroller.
