many thanks to this forum for knowledge supplied free and patience with enquiries which may not have been easy to answer

I have reached the point where I cannot reuse or recycle looks like I will have to spend some money

can someone tell me is there a combined unit that will do the job of inverter and  charge controller is there a money saving option

what system voltage?? some inverters have built in auxiliary relays that can turn a relay connected to a dump load on and off at preset voltages but that will not be a PWM controller like a real diversion controller though it will just be on/off. your best bet really would be a separate diversion controller and dump load.
