Wind and Solar Hybrid System Connection Question
« on: September 06, 2008, 04:18:29 AM »
I have a small 20 watt solar panel and a 220 volt small home built wind turbine. This is a small system but I would like to be able to connect these together to charge batteries.  My questions are:

Can I use the same charger? or

Can I connect the panel straight to the batteries and then connect the wind turbine to a charger?

I would like both of these to charge the batteries and want to make this one simple system.  I have reviewed the information online and haven't found the info. Any help would be great.  I have used alot of the info off the message boards and have found all the info to be very helpful.  Now I'm ready to hookup and start charging..........

Thanks,

Rick
