600 watts from wind
« on: July 29, 2010, 02:12:45 PM »
Hello All,

I am a novice in the field of wind energy. And, I have to find some information. In case of requiring 600 waats power to be generated (60v), what magnet and windings are suggested?

Thank you.

This is probably the Most asked and answered question on this forum..

I find this link helpful when trying to do research.

All the info is here, too, if you want to find it.

Good luck. It should be easy to find what you seek.

P=V*I
U REQUIRED 600w @ 60 V* 10 AMP
I THINK U HAVE TO MAKE SO MUCH OF SMALL COILS to get such a voltage. A BIG STATOR FOR IT.
TRY TO USE IN 12V,24V,48V SYSTEM
AND INCREASE YOUR AMPERE(CURRENT) TO GET 600w.

HUGH PIGGOTT PMG MANUAL IS BEST EXAMPLE FOR IT TO GET 500w TO 1000w.

google it to find out the manual.

What Greenenergy does not tell us is what he/she needs a 600W 60V wind turbine for which might explain the unusual voltage not that 60 Volts would be a problem here I disagree with your coil logic awk.

Yes the best advice is one of the books on the subject, one written by our hosts or Hugh Piggott both available from our hosts on line shop .........

sir in other power website small wind turbine like 400W use small coils and equall magnets.the results show they are going to far from 12v system.
some where i read on internet the more coils more voltage.

i am not a pro in this filed correct me if i am wrong.
