Hi Folks I have the 17 footer style on a 65 foot tower...it could stand to be another 20 feet up to clear just about everything around here....however some storms rolled through here over the weekend... tornados were lurking in this region of the U.S.
The amp meter often pegged past the 50 amp mark...and I was there to see it, and it took a fuse out along with it too! I think it easily topped 3500 watts. I need to upgrade the fuse amperage and get an amp meter which can go to 125-150 amps.
All day saturday, it was pushing 2000-2500 watts, with gusts which only left me guesstimating the amps produced.
The 17 footer in the right situation can put out some power! The problem is...is your wallet deep enough to buy enough battereis for all the power it can produce!
