Looks interesting, looks like you could possibly trigger a wye delta switch with it.

Looks interesting to me too - have browsed some of the remote control car/helicopter sites and found a link to a manual which I suspect is for the same devce....

The same group have quite a bit of discussion about other battery monitors etc.

I have been looking for a cheap monitor for a while and lamented that the LiPo battery devices are all pretty much limited to low voltage measurement. This one thought looks like it could be suitable for my remote site 12v system. Maybe the RPM input could monitor prop (or hydro) speed too. The PC logging feature sounds like it was a bit buggy but the RC crowd have writted their own software for it.

I've finally stopped lurking (after >5 years of clandestine fieldlines surveillance) and registered to post this. I now might have to invest in one and play....
